DAY
1: Phnom Penh to Chau Doc
We board a boat from Phnom Penh to the Cambodia-Vietnam
border at Kaam Samnor, travelling down the
Mekong River. After crossing, we continue
to the Mekong Delta town of Chau Doc. In
the afternoon, we visit the holy Sam Mountain
for views across the delta and Cambodia,
and visit the many shrines located here.
Dinner and overnight in Chau Doc.
DAY
2: Chau Doc to Cantho
In the morning, we take a boat trip on the
Bassac River to a Muslim Cham village on
a nearby island. We also travel through
the many floating villages in this area
before returning to town to visit some local
temples. After lunch we depart for Cantho,
the commercial centre of the delta. Dinner
and ovenight in Cantho.
DAY
3: Cantho to Saigon
This morning we rise early to visit the Cai Rang
Floating Market, near Cantho. We continue towards
Saigon, stopping for lunch in the riverside town
of Mytho. The tour ends in Saigon.
